NEW FOR 2025

Nature's Lawn with Mowable Wildflowers

For gardeners wanting a usable lawn with wildflowers

Available in 400g cartons.

This innovative seed mix is designed for gardeners who wish to enjoy the beauty and ecological benefits of wildflowers, without sacrificing the functionality of their lawns. By combining a selection of lawn grasses with UK native perennial wildflowers that can tolerate regular mowing, this mix offers a solution that attracts pollinators such as butterflies and bumblebees while maintaining a usable, aesthetically pleasing lawn.

This new mix includes a carefully selected blend of slow-growing grasses - Strong Creeping Red Fescue, Chewings Fescue, Hard Fescue, Smooth Stalk Meadow Grass, and Crested Dogstail - ensuring durability, drought tolerance, and shade resistance. Additionally, some of the plants included in the mixture contribute to increased nitrogen levels in the soil, further enhancing lawn health. Can be used for new lawns.

Choose Your Cutting Height

Nature’s Lawn offers versatile mowing heights, ideally ranging from 50mm to 150mm, to suit your preferences for lawn usability and biodiversity. Adjust the cutting height to your liking and enjoy more flowers in bloom as you let the lawn grow. For a fully natural lawn experience, you can allow it to reach an impressive height of up to 1m.

#NoMowMay

We are proud to support the 'No Mow May' campaign by Plantlife. This campaign is aimed providing food and habitat for pollinators to thrive in, tackle pollution, reduce urban heat extremes and lock away carbon from the atmosphere.

We’ve lost approximately 97% of flower-rich meadows since the 1930’s and with them gone are vital food needed by pollinators, like bees and butterflies.

But your lawn can help! A healthy lawn with some long grass and wildflowers benefits wildlife, tackles pollution and can even lock away carbon below ground. With over 20 million gardens in the UK, even the smallest grassy patches add up to a significant proportion of our land which, if managed properly, can deliver enormous gains for nature, communities and the climate.

This is why Plantlife calls for people to get involved with #NoMowMay every year, and let wild plants get a head start on the summer.

Looking for a wildflower meadow?

Whilst this mix does contain wildflowers it's very much a practical lawn mix and we'd recommend opting for our Country Meadow or Celebration Wildflowers to achieve high density and impact wildflowers meadows.
