While many traditional lawn mixes struggle under trees, beside fences, or along shaded walls, Shady Place uses carefully selected fescues and browntop bent (species that naturally adapted to low-light conditions) to deliver consistent, reliable growth where it’s needed most.
Shady Place performs well in both dry shade (under trees or near larger shrubs) and damp shade (north-facing walls, enclosed courtyards), making it a highly versatile option for gardens challenged by limited light. For very shaded areas, mowing at a slightly higher height supports stronger leaf growth, helping the grass make the most of available light.

Apply between March & October, when soil is warm above 10°C and grass is actively growing. For best results, apply straight after mowing and remove clippings to ensure excellent seed-to-soil contact.
